Right in the heart of Old Town Prague, our hotel offers the ideal base for exploring the beautiful city of Prague. From our front doors, right at the riverbank you're less than a minute's walk away from the famous Charles Bridge on the Vltava River. Another short walk takes you to the Old Town Square with one of the Prague’s most interesting sights – the unique Astronomical clock. Our hotel was built in 17th century according to the Baroque design of Joseph Wirch as palace to the noble Pachta family. We have in our hotel two restaurants: the café la crème for simple and delicious dishes and Atelier Kalina with the famous Czech Chef Miroslav Kalina (MasterChef jury in the Czech TV show) with his unique interpretations on the fusion of Czech and French cuisine cooked with seasonal ingredients.

The Smetana hotel features also Sisley l’ Institut with phyto-aromatic treatments made with famous cosmetic French brand Sisley. Finally, we have into our hotel the Chapel Cigar Club, a lounge place with a large selection of cigars and great spirits..
